Big four boost the local market for craft beer,” said Steve Naylor, of the Kansas Craft Brewers Association, in a statement to the Kansas City Star.
The move by the national craft brewer’s association is a big win for Kansans, who are facing the challenge of balancing a rapidly growing craft-beer industry with traditional food and beverage industries. The craft industry in Kansas has grown to $9.7 billion from about $6 billion in 2011, according to Brewers Association data.
The craft industry is growing at a rate that outpaces the nation as a whole, the association say원나잇s. That puts the Kansans in a difficult spot. The Kansas craft industry is on track for $1.2 billion in annual business by 2025, the association claims.
The Kansans have seen a few examples of the industry’s growth.
Kansas brewers have launched beer tours of their breweries in Austin and Nashville and now are doing the same in Washington.
The beer’s growth has also given rise to many new local and regional foodies. Naylor says at last year’s Kansans Craft Brewers Association Convention in Lawrence, his organization helped get 4,000 attendees to their 세종출장마사지annual Kansas City Craft Brewers Association Beer Walk, a beer fest in downtown Kansas City with a $20 beer crawl. The theme of the convention, according to Kansans, is “Local Foodie.”
A recent report by Nielsen for craft-market data agency Euromonitor showed that the beer and food industry, as a whole, accounted for about $4.2 billion in sales in the United States in 2013, with craft beer accounting for about 16 percent.
The Kansas Craft Brewers Association said the increase in craft beer sales in Kansas has helped it grow the state’s craft beer sector.
“Kansas Craft Brewers Association is a unique organization that has successfully challenged a number of established brewers to grow and succeed in the Kansas market, while offering unique, local and regional experiences for the loca블랙 잭l community and residents,” Naylor said.
Kansans craft brewers have been growing rapidly since 2007, when MillerCoors was founded. At that time the Kansans had a beer category category of 4 percent, followed by lager beer, gin and vodka.
This year craft brewer MillerCoors announced plans to open two facilities to produce its craft beer.
