Consent to intercourse
The chronilogical age of consent may be the age of which a new individual can legitimately accept activity that is sexual. Chronilogical age of permission regulations connect with all kinds of sex, which range from kissing and fondling to sexual activity. All sexual intercourse without permission is a criminal offense, irrespective of age. They are severe offences that carry severe charges, including minimum that is mandatory.
Canada’s chronilogical age of permission
The chronilogical age of permission to intercourse is 16 years. The age of consent is higher (for example, when there is a relationship of trust, authority or dependency) in some cases. A person must be at least 16 years old to be able to legally agree to sexual activity in other words. A 14 or 15 year old can consent to sexual intercourse provided that the partner is not as much as 5 years older and there’s no relationship of trust, authority or dependency or just about any other exploitation regarding the young individual.
